LIVE Available on the public NCM Online server.
Controls & Commands
NCM is played through keys and menus. Chat commands exist as a backup and for a few small things, but nothing in NCM should need typing. Use the search box in the menu to find a command.

The Help catalogue
This table is generated from the game's own Help page (ncm/core/player/help.lua), the single list NCM uses to
tell players what they can do. If it changes in the game, it changes here at the next build.
| Control | Key | Chat command | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Race Guide | F6 | /ncm.guidepage | Tonight's races: what is running, where, the weather, the regulations and whether you can enter. |
| Market | — | /ncm.market | Buy a vehicle. What you own is yours and can be entered in races. Shown in game only while the market system is running. |
| Exchange | F6 | /ncm.exchange | Trade exact Machines, stored Parts and eddies directly with another online Driver. Both Drivers must confirm the same revision before anything moves. Shown in game only while the trade system is running. |
| Machine Index | F6 / F10 | /ncm.collectionpage | Discover machines and select a specific owned asset to CALL VEHICLE in a clear nearby space. |
| Messages | F6 | /ncm.msgs | Your conversations, and any invitation or notice addressed to you. Pick a name on the left and talk to them in the main pane. |
| Your driver | — | /ncm.profile | Licence, safety rating, reputation and what you have achieved. |
| Your garage | — | /ncm garage | The vehicles you own. |
| Route there | — | /ncm.gps | Points your map at your next race, or at the course once you have entered one. NCM does this for you; use it if you want the route set again. |
| Retire from a race | — | /ncm.forfeit | Leaves a race you have already started, recorded as a DNF. Ask twice to confirm. To leave a race you entered but have not started, use Withdraw at the venue instead. Shown in game only while the racing system is running. |
| Location names on the map | — | /ncm.nodes | NCM's named places — Pothole, Deep Dive, Japantown Crossway — are marked on your world map so you can set your own waypoint on one. Toggles them off and on. |
| This page | — | /ncm help | Orientation, what works today, and how to report a problem. Also /ncm lost and /ncm docs. |
